Aviation Museum
Aviation museum (Koku Hakubutsukan) is located near RW34L end. You can go there in 15 minute 230 yen by bus from terminal Two No.3 bus stop. You can take photographs at 5F observation deck, 4F restaurant, 3F open air deck. Open 10:00am to 5:00PM. Admission fee is 500Yen. The light condition is good in the morning. This point is for winter; north wind days. Closed on Monday and 29-31.Dec, if Monday is a national holiday, it is open and closed next day. Click here to get Bus Schedule and Route Map

Hatake (field) point (for the late Autumn and Winter)
'Hatake', means field, point is located at RW34L end and was the best point for the end of autumn to beginning of spring. The light condition is good after 10:00am for airplanes on the ground and after 11:00 am for airplanes approaching to RW34. 200mm lens for B747 on the ground and 100mm lens for B747 approaching. You can get there by 20min walk from Aviation Museum bus stop or 30min walk from Sanrizuka bus stop. (see route map and bus schedule) There is no shop, no toilet and it is very cold in winter, so don't forget to ready food, drink, films, spare batteries and warm clothes. *Don't step in the field and don't dump rubbish in the field to keep good relationship with farmers.* Click here to get Bus Schedule and Route Map

Sakura no Oka Park
'Sakura no Oka Park', means cherry hill park, is located near 'Hatake point', 10 minutes walk from Hatake point or 10 minutes walk from 'Jutaku Iriguchi' bus stop. Unfortunately fence around airport and electric wire get in the way for planes on the ground. So this point is for approach shot only. 200 mm lens for B747 approaching. Light condition is good in late morning and afternoon. There is a toilet, but no shop near here. So don't forget to ready food, drink, films and spare batteries. Sakura no Yama Park (Best point for late Spring and Summer)
'Sakura no Yama Park', means cherry mountain park, is located near RW16R end. The light condition is good in afternoon. You can get there by 15 minutes walk from 'Toyama Nokyomae" bus stop. If you are staying at Marroad International Hotel Narita, 15 minutes walk from the hotel. The airport side is enclosed by fence, 180 cm high. But if you step on the bench, you can clear it. Better to ready step ladder, if you want to choose best position. 100-200 mm lens for B747 taking off or approaching. 200 mm lens for B747 on runway end. Runway16R end
Runway 16R end point is for ground shot, 10min walk from "Sakura no Yama park". You can take the photograph of the airliners on runway 16 end. The airport area is surrounded by concrete fence, but you can take photos through 15 cm width slits of the fence. Better to ready something step on. 200mm lens for B747 on taxi way. 100mm lens for B747 on runway. You can not see the approaching airliners until it pass in front of you, so this point is not good for approach shot.

Express Way side
Express way side is a good point to take approach shots for RW16R in the morning. This point is located on the side of bridge over the express way. 15 min. walk from Marroad International hotel or 20 min walk from Sakura no Yama park. 135mm lens for B747. The light condition is good until 11am.
