I and members of our band wanted our original piece for a long time. Who is a suitable composer for our commission ? When ?
Jan Van der Roost is one of the best composers we know. And this year, 1997, is the 40th anniversary of our band. Then we committed the celebration piece to Jan Van der Roost.
He named this piece "DYNAMICA" after dynamic movement of NEC as electronics company and energetic activity of our band. For 40 years, members of our band and company have strongly supported the band. "DYNAMICA" is a suitable name for our band.
This piece have "introduction" for celebration, energetic "Allegro" and genial "Intermediate". "Allegro" indicates an actual aspect of our band, and "Intermediate" indicates a genial one. He described both aspects as the personality of our band. Then You will understand that he is kindly.
