AN INNOCENT MAN SOUGHT AFTER FOR 15 YEARS

The Metropolitan Police sought after five men incIudeng Mr. Naoto Misaki on suspicion of the murder case that took place on October 30, 1980. But, Mr. Misaki had an alibi. At the time of the incident, he was working part-time at a place in Saitama Prefecture a few dozen kilometers away from the place of the murder case. It was completely backed up by the testimonies made by four of his colleagues at his workplace and 34 pieces of material evidence.

However, the Metropolitan Police has done an unpardonable thing: the Metropolitan Police and Tokyo Summary Court ignored his perfect alibi and kept Mr. Misaki on the wanted list for 15 years until the end of the period of prescription

DEMAND FOR GOVERNMENT COMPENSATION TO MAKE UP FOR THE FRAMING UP

After the period of prescription, Mr. Misaki made a request for government compensation to the Metropolitan Police and Tokyo Summary court. We, members of "The Group for Examining Problems Concerning Arrest Warrants" are supporting him in his demand for the compensation, and also conducting a movement to change the current system which can issue an arrest warrant to an innocent person, against which we cannot make a protest at the present time.

In our fight for the government compensation at the court. we asked the Metropolitan Police for the material evidence concerning the arrest warrant, and an important fact that the Metropolitan Police issued arrest warrants with random (or fabricated) material has been revealed. Please, support our "Group for Examining Problems Concerning Arrest Warrants" in our fight to win the government compensation and to amend the current system of issuing arrest warrants.

Mr.Misaki was working at a place in Saitama Prefecture a few dozen kilometers away from the place of the murder case.

The cards of contract was found.(Mr. Misaki made three contracts to take a newspaper on October 30, 1980.)
