On September 12 in the eighth year of Bun'ei (1271), Heino Saemon and his three hundred of swordsmen surrounded Priest Nichiren's hut at Matsubaga-yatsu Valley to arrest him. They burst into the room and torn off the sutras and trampled down them. They seemed to be drunk with their violence. Then, one soldier called Shoubou robbed a volume of sutra with which he strongly hit the head of Nichiren three times. The volume was the fifth of Lotus Sutra that contains the thirteenth chapter named Kanji-bon, which foretold that a lot of hardships would severely flood on THE PERSON who save the Mappo Ages as the leader of Lotus Sutra.

Nichiren felt that he had read Lotus Sutra not only by his eyes and heart but also by his body. Then, Nichiren said, "How funny it is that Heino Saemon loses his sanity! He made cut at the pillar of Japan!" It was so a large voice that they suddenly came to their senses to be quiet. They barely captured him.
