J/E by Shibuya Kengo (not public version) Notice No.3167 2000/03/21 To : All Priests and Believers From : Nichiren Shoshu Shumuin Office Re: The Clow Problem - The Tokyo Regional Court produced an unreasonable verdict that ignores a lot of material evidence. We will therefore immediately appeal to the Tokyo High Court. Today we heard the judgement of Tokyo Region Court on the Clow Case and FBI Case (the 12th part of the civil case). The judge Mr. Shimoda that dismissed our demands. He said that it is not significant that Mr. Sprinkle was in military service on the night (of the alleged incident) and ignored the fact that Mr. Sprinkle has been receiving $4,000 per month from the office of the Soka Gakkai's lawyer. The judge chose to believe the story of Mrs. Clow even though parts of it were contradicted by Mr. Sprinkle's own testimony - for example, that Mr. Sprinkle made four charge sheets that Mrs. Crow signed in behalf of "Mr. Abe". How unreasonable and incomprehensible judgement it is. With regard to the FBI problem, we have the clear evidence of the U.S Department of Justice (Office of Information and Privacy) and Soka Gakkai Vice President Mr. Fukushima that the could not find any Federal evidence relating to this alleged incident. This runs contrary to the Gakkai's newspaper report. However the courts judgement rules that this false reporting is not illegal because this case is contingent upon the outcome of the Clow case. We are going to appeal to the Tokyo High Court as soon as possible to illuminate the truth of Clow Problem and the unlawful acts of Soka Gakkai.
