1-2 Red Hat Linux 7.0 Installation

やはりRed Hat 7.0でもインスト−ル後の最初の起動時にXが立ち上がりませんでした
（”私の場合は，ですが）.以下6.2の手順書のCOPYです．

X の設定以外は特に書く事は有りません.以下の手順で失敗したら
"1.3 X window" を参考にして手動で設置してください.

また，Nozomi Ytow さんから指摘頂いた通りVideo memory は2560KBですので
出来れば手動でXの設定を変更してください.詳細は東芝Linux ML,スレッド1289付近

1) Monitors Setup

3-1)Confirm the indication will be:
X prove results Video: Trident Cyber 9525 (Generic), X server: SVGA (Default)

3-2) Select "Custom"
3-3) Select "Non Interlaced SVGA,1024x768@60Hz,800x600@72MHz"

3-4) Vertical Sync range : 50-70
3-5) Screen Configuration : Prove
if it can not identify the parameters automatically, perform followings

3-6) Screen Configuration : Not Prove
3-7) Video memory : 2mb
3-8) Clock setting : No
3-9) Video Mod : 16bit 1024x768

3-10) [root] # shutdown -r now
