 日本ラブスプーン協会の発足
2002年7月13日に発足した協会が、一周年を記念して本格的な活動を開始し、これに参画しました。その経緯です。
ラブスプーンに傾倒している人がもう一人日本にいました。歴史のあるWalesの伝統が持つ物語性とメッセージ力を大切にしたいという発想です。私は、Walesから帰って以来、漆塗りのラブスプーンを少しづつ創っていました。ホームページがご縁で、普及に注力しつつあるその人（彼女）から注文を頂いたことがきっかけとなって、協会を盛り立てようということになったのでした。私がコンセプトにしている”A Spoonful of Love”（”スプーン一杯の愛”）は、物（ラブスプーン）が語る（相手に気持ちを伝える）ことが出来るささやかな物語といえます。一杯は”いっぱい”に通じます。まさにFullです。

行事予定
今後、木彫家向けの講習会やラブスプーンのファン向けの研究会が行われる予定です。協会のイベントに協力していきます。

I have joined to The JLA renewed in July, 2003.
JLA was established in 2002 by a person who was deeply concerned to promote the Lovespoon in Japan. I have been carving Lovespoons japanning to finish them and showing the works on the Web page since I have returned from Wales. The wish of promotion picked my Web page up and a commission was made to carve a big japanned spoon. That was a chance to get a new idea for renewal of the Association.
The concept I joined to the Association is "A Spoonful of Love", where you can see a noble fusion among spoons as goods and spirits of messages for many kinds of love.
Event Planning
Several events to be announced later is planed to vitalize the activities of the Association for the promotion of Welsh Lovespoons, original and creative.
