Naval Academy was the place of dreams for the excellent students both
in mind and body in those days, only those with high marks were
accepted.
(The 72nd Naval Academy graduates were at the age of 22-23 at the end
of the war and about one fourth of those survived went on to
universities after the war.

University 8, Hokkaido University 4, Hitotsubashi University 3, Keio
University 7, Waseda University 3, Others 18)
