underwent a complete change.
Not you this time. You stay."

Sub-lieutenant Kawai was first scheduled to sortie as a Kaiten pilot
of the first Kaiten Detachment "Kikusui." However, the operation was
changed so that three subs not five sortied, making Sub-lieutenant
Kawai sortie as the Commander in Chief of Okinawa Base Kaiten Group
"Hakuryu."
